Advertise Your Event with the DC Blues Society!
Advertise your event in advance! Contact DCBS as soon as possible prior to your event to order an ad!
To have your event listed in the DCBS Capital Blues Messenger newsletter or on the DCBS website:
- View the Pricing and Specifications for the Newsletter and Website.
- Send your order to ads@dcblues.org and specify the type of ad and how long you'd like to display the ad.
- After receiving advertising confirmation, send your ad to
newsletter@dcblues.org by the 7th of the PRIOR month. (See newsletter ad specifications.)
DCBS is always looking for articles for the DCBS Capital Blues Messenger. There is no charge -- the editor's will determine how the articles will be used. Please send articles and other newsletter contributions to newsletter@dcblues.org.

Rates are based on camera-ready artwork and must
be received by the 7th of the month.
Design service is outsourced and a fee will be charged. Discounts are
available for consecutive placement of ads.

with ads@dcblues.org
2. Send Pre-Approved Ads to newsletter@dcblues.org
by the 7th of the month.
What to Send: Ads
should be at least 300 dpi in either PDF or JPG. Submit in B/W and
color when possible.
When to Send: Ads
need to be recieved by the 7th of the month prior
to when the ad should appear. If you want to publish in February, send
the ad no later than January 7.
Newsletter ad size and space allocation is
contingent on prior commitments and editorial content. DCBS reserves
the right to refuse advertising it deems inappropriate.

simple animations.) If modifications are needed, provide ad in PSD
format.
