DC Blues Society and the IBC

Congratulations to the Big Boy Little Band and Matt Kelley.

Big Boy Little Band

The DC Blues Society sponsored the Big Boy Little Band at the 2010 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN on January 20-23, 2010:

  • The Big Boy Little Band made it to the finals (that's the top 10 out of 100s of bands) at the 2010 IBC!

  • Matt Kelley, guitarist for the Big Boy Little Band, was recognized as the top guitarist of the event! (imagine out of how many guitarists considering 100s of bands compete!). Matt was awarded a custom Gibson guitar.

Congratulations to all!!!

Come see the Big Boy Little Band perform on Labor Day weekend at the:

  • FREE 22nd Annual DC Blues Festival at the Carter Barron Amphitheatre in Washington, DC on Saturday, September 4, 2010
