Saffire, the Uppity Blues Women

Saffire—the uppity blues women, a Virginia based women's acoustic blues trio, are now in there 21st year of recording and touring. The unique group carrying on the tradition of the powerful women blues artists before them, Ma Rainy, Ida Cox, Memphis Minnie, travel world wide sharing their messages of empowerment, courage, and the everyday facts of life. Their witty songwriting, masterful use of double entendre, passionate deliveries, exciting stage presence and extraordinary musicianship set them apart.
